Where everyone is an athlete…

So…this is it!

Welcome to my first blog and more importantly welcome to the creatively named Joe Bullen Strength & Conditioning.

“So what is this all about then?”

As you hunt around my website you’ll see that I’ve worked as an exercise professional and strength & conditioning (S&C) coach in a few different environments.

But now I’m available to provide my services to anyone I like!

“But don’t I also have to be a professional athlete to train with you?”

Hell no!!!!!! Generally, most athletes are the healthiest and fittest people around. So why don’t you have the right to be the same?

My aim with Joe Bullen S&C is to give everyone and anyone the opportunity to train and be trained like a professional athlete.

I feel that everyone should be trained to their strengths and weaknesses in order to create more robust, injury-proof, mechanically more efficient and healthier people.

And most importantly, this should be done in a way that is challenging, but enjoyable and rewarding for the client.

“But what is a strength & conditioning (S&C) coach? What do they do?”

Basically, I train movement for performance…………….I screen everyone to see how they move (and identify injury risks)……………..I train mobility so they move more efficiently (and prevent injury)………………… I train strength so they can move with more force (and prevent injury)…………….. I train power so they can perform better! (Without getting injuries!)

“But what if I don’t play any sports, why should I train with you and not a cheaper Personal Trainer?”

Cheaper PTs are always an option. But, remember you get what you pay for. If I had a serious knee injury I’d quite happily choose the best knee specialist around over seeing my GP!

Everyone and anyone will benefit from smart S&C programming as it presents the best route for optimum development whilst preventing the risk of injury.

Stay tuned for more updates, offers, tips, advice and entertainment!

Joe.
